It is the only and most suitable area for trekking and mountaineering. Many nature trails have been cleared throughout the forest by the Forest Department with camp sites and inter-connected foot paths amidst Cardamom plantations, toddy tapping 'Kitul' plantations, Tea plantation and their unique workers and farmers. Many rural villages and livelihoods can be observed in these remote areas.
